New wallets No.9 and No.10
New wallets No.5,6,7 and 8
No.6 Audrey hepburn ..simple elegance
No.7 Lauren Bacall...with red satin ,polka dot ribbon and a little hand sewn flower.
No.8...Mick Jagger with vintage polka dots(On Reserve)
Wallets 4 and 5...
No.3 Gary Cooper and Burt Lancaster...made with the green plastic wrapping from luggage at the airport(why oh why do the use so much..the mind bloggles)...the result is wholesome recycled fun
No.4 Harold Lyold ...I love silent movies and this is a personal favourite of mine.With hand sewn buttons and an old film reel.
New collection of wallets ...all one off pieces!
The beginning ...
I want to share with you all my new collection of wallets...now numbered but not in order of preference.
I use mainly recycled materials because I love the quality and feel of vintage textiles and ribbons.
I track down images in old book shops and magazines-I,ve tried down loading images but it,s not the same...theres a type of magic in the search alone.
I like to think of this wallets as little works of art-each unique-each a homage to the greats(and the humorous)of this world

No.2 Lana Turner with a delightful dramactic pose and gorgeous vintage leave pattern.
